MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD!
il keep this review very straightforward, and write it from being a true fan to the series, let me highlight the negatives first,
CONS:
> Changing Luke s character from the Original
> Repetetion of Space-Battles, u see it once, ul enjoy it, ul see it again, u dont feel anything much
> Finn / Rose story arc, no chemistry, no connection, u dont give a damn in the first place
> Snoke s character was disappointing
> Lightsaber battles didn live upto to our expecatations
> Poe Dameron was not well utilized, bad scripting for him
> Very simple & linear plot
> Backstory of Rey Parents / Luke s & Ren s relationship not explained nicely
> Climax very Average
> Benicio Del Toros character.major disappointment
> Dont feel special after walking out from the movie, u can forget it in a day
> All Canto Bight Scenes
PROS:
> VFX, full marks
> Soundtrack good, but was heavily repeated, felt like a Chorus, was irritating a bit
> Performances by Luke / Ren / Finn / Poe / Leia
> Comedy scenes by Chewbacca / Borg / Luke / Poe / BB-8 / General Hux
> Compared to Force Awakens, this was much better in NOT copying scenes / story arc from the Original trilogy, in a way stayed original
> More Action scenes compared to Force Awakens
> X-Wings / TIE fighters battle
> Good exit for Luke, didnt die in a tragic way!
