Snake oil N fleas. Nice shopping site with a catch. Review on Shopclues

They say there's no free lunch and this site is no exception. You get what you pay for. If you love the uber low priced Sunday flea market stuff and its ilk for instance you will be short changed with Chocopie that is chocopie no doubt but seems to have been trampled by a herd of elephants. At least I received them that way. Snickers chocs look like mashed gummy choc.

The good thing is that when it comes to electronics, things can be quite a steal. An emergency lamp I bought recently for instance is priced as low as Rs149. It had a small fissure on the transparent collimator cover in the top corner. Not noticeable at first, but still a blemish that could render the item unsold in a brick and mortar showroom till eternity. Most deals from this site are not entire lemons, like a 32 inch LCD TV I bought from here at 13K .wow! a steal. Worked great with HD.and 3D via an external converter, but when they are too cheap, then the merchandise is suspect and yes don't forget the elephants I told you about.

Oh and did I mention the reviews about our friendly pachyderms that shopclues refused to publish, perhaps because the sardonic vitriol is a lil too overwhelming? Aaaw I've given away the honest shopclues review system too now haven't I.? That's what they call snake oil am I right?.

Update on 18th Sept 2014- Stinking worse cust support that would end you in a cussing spree. No reply to my queries after a long time, no response from both shopclues or merchant. Money is lost. No refunds to earlier transactions, blaming courier for no service instead for the returns. Counterfeit Rayban shades. tried to return but shopclues refused refund saying shades are genuine without even seeking rayban dealer opinion. gold plated metal used for the Rayban shades look like the wire frame has been beaten by hand to form the frame around the glass. Total effin joke. Nigerian con-artist kind of salesmanship soliciting the worst reviews in mouthshut.com. Shopclues has now gone for a toss and Wikipedia corroborates with this.Totally snake oil. Period.
