The story is a hit sequel to the original sandakozhi which was released many years back. Though it's a sequel there are very few resemblances to the original.
The basic plot is the rivalry between two groups in the village which grows over the years due to some incidents. Vishal is good and keerthi suresh is very lively and energetic. Music given by yuvan shankar raja suits the proceesings. The 1st half of the film focusses on the romance between keerthi and vishal and good to watch them on screen. While the 2nd half is filled with unnecessary elements which spoil the mood of the film.
