The other shows like Indian Idol and even Superstar Singer are much much better. Here's what's going wrong with SaRe.. PA
Lesser experienced judges are ruining the experience. And it shows.
Leading to my 2nd point. Despite the contestants significantly rendering flat / missed notes, the judges are heaping praises.
Quite a few contestants are not fit to enter the competition. Notes not in tune. Poor vocal quality. Some of them are nice. But the quality of the singers in other competitions, overall, are much better
The musicians and music technicians are not upto the mark. Mixing needs mcu more work.
Lastly, the criteria of showing sob stories is ok as long as it does not overshadow the singing part. In one show, there were about only 5 songs. What are we expecting.
