Railwire is an internet broadband connection provider which is an initiative of Railtel Corporation.
I recently purchased an unlimited internet monthly pack of Rupees 649 ( excluding 15% tax) .
I expected that since it is set up and initiated by Railway Ministry it should be reliable. However, contrary to my expectation the internet speed keeps on breaking every afternoon or evening although they claim that the Port Speed is 1Mbps. I only use a smartphone or a laptop so there is no load on the bandwidth.
Besides that, the router was costly and including installation charged Rupees 3000. It is unfair and I have complain many times but they make excuses to wait for a day and the connection will improve automatically. The service of Railwire is poor as well as the connection strength and I suggest others to kindly not chose Railwire. I will cancel my subscribtion soon.
