My wife wanted a 4 burner gas stove. We were considering the more visible(magazines) brand of GLEN. But recently at Bigbazar sale, a good bargain was offered from Prestige - a 4 burner Glass Top Gas Stove with a Chimney for Rs 6100.00. Looking at the cost of the stove, the Chimney worth 5000/= came free.
Idea appears to be for the pair is to go together on your kitchen slab to give a homogeneous look to the area.
The Chimney is also good looking, although its not that dashing as the GLEN Chimney which has a sloping canopy. We've yet to install the same, as we do not feel the requirement. However, it was shown to be working at the Bigbazar store. It has 4 fan speeds, a light, 2 sections(fans) with removable steel covers, both can be separately opened & cleaned. Seems good for the speedy removal of fumes.
But the black colored gas stove with glass top is a stunner.
The 4 burners are working well. The knobs feel sturdy & safe.
The tube connection is on rear centre, with swivel joint to point in the right direction of your cylinder.
Overall a good package.
