Before you waste your time in ODA class, find yourself a good tuition teacher and go there, better than this cringe.
(before you even think of using Oda, a few days ago this company was raided by govt of India for sending funds to China and more)
This review is from a student point of view, I am not bashing Oda class because I hate to study, but the way it works and is.
The teachers are ok, they teach so slow and show external videos from youtube and all and claim that "it's made by them". Those videos are not given proper attribution too. The digital content they make is full of gifs from the internet that even I can make.
They make you solve super easy questions in 1 minute or 2 minutes and make you feel like geniuses, but only when you open your textbook you will realise you have to do more.
I joined Oda class because my performance dipped in 7th grade due to my distractions and thought that this would help me in focusing. But instead, I started sleeping because they teach in the pace of a turtle so slow, I can literally read from my textbook and understand in less than 1 hour.
Now coming to the worst part, the app, the chat and the mentor teacher/co-teacher. The app is a mess, full of bugs on pc and mobile app. The design of the app is a mess. The chatbox is open most of the times and students chat with each other. And now the worst part, the mentor teacher. The mentor teacher calls you if you join your class 2 mins late, opening other app in class(sometimes parents need to check messages) and being disconnected due to internet issues for 2 minutes. Also if you don't do your homework, they will call you till you bang your phone on the ground. Whenever you have to go out or you can't join classes due to xyz reasons, the teacher will make you waste your time by "keeping the class on in the background" even when the recordings are available when you don't join. The mentor teacher is what makes me hate Oda class. My mom got fed up with the teacher and does not recommend the app to anyone anymore.
The concepts taught in the class are not the same to what is taught in school so its technically a time waste.
There are 2 classes 4 days a week in my course(might be different in yours)
FINAL VERDICT: if your child is dumb and is very bad in basics and is a slow learner, Oda class is perfect, or just ignore Oda class and go to an offline tuition. The prices are ok for the services they offer, but the quality doesn't match.
