Bought this phone 2 months back thinking that this will be useful as mp3 player. The mobile shop guy had no idea about the phone specifications. The overall experience with the phone is all right however when it comes to specific functions, the phone does not deliver the purpose for everyone.
The MP3 Player - The MP3 player output is mono. There is no way in the world you can change it to stereo. The sound quality is very poor as compared to other brands like Sony Erickson. The volume is very low in the inbuilt software and can be improved with the downloads available on internet.
The phone performance - The phone restarts automatically whenever it wants. And it hangs if you browse through the options at a high speed. The BIOS software installed in my set does not have auto keypad lock facility. The previous versions had the same.
Camera - 1.5 MP camera is good but you have to hold the camera for a long time after clicking or you will find an entirely different picture. The camera is very slow. The video camera clarity is all right but the video is not continuous.
Memory card - The phone supports upto 2GB Memory card as told by the showroom guy.
Now some good things about the phone - You can use the phone to make calls. That’s the thing that works properly unless you have a Hutch connection which does not work even if you have a good handset.
I won’t say not to buy this phone. Instead buy something else.
