Its time we be reasonable. Review on Naturoveda - Park Circus - Kolkata

My mother has severe Osteoarthritis. Unfortunately, she wasn't convinced on knee replacement.

She also suffered from Hypertension and moderate Cholesterol levels.

As with all of us India folks we trust Natural Medicines including Ayurveda and Homeopathy more than Allopathy.

The thing about such Ayurvdic treatment is as follows as per MY Opinion BASED on reading different research sites:

1. Ancient Ayurveda and Homeopathy was more scientific and evidence based treatment.

I am a huge fan of natural ways of treatment.

1. But People can now open any Ayurvedic treatment home and claim they can cure diseases which evidence world has till now not seen any proof of.

2. The academic and training of such people even if intentions are good, are insufficient. It is not based on acknowledged and certified evidence based treatment plans.

Having said that, coming to diagnosis of treatment in case of my mother.

At times, it was just looking at urine samples. Strange but true. Also, been asked for various blood tests and radiology results.

1. It is impossible for anyone to find the disease just looking at Urine sample alone.

2. Their is no reason given for the treatment plan. What are they treating and why?

3. The medicines do not have labeled chemical compounds, which can be very dangerous at times.

remember, everything in world is chemical even if natural. Like water.

These chemicals can really alter the body and immune system going down to a single chemical.

1. There is no mention of control trials on people. We will never know to whom are they fit and whom are they unfit.

2. A simple symptom of blood pressure is not easy to diagnose for reasons.

But she was prescribed certain medicines which will thin the blood even without ascertaining the fact if pressure was high because of Blood volume.

1. Medicines are insanely expensive and they DO NOT WORK. They will make you feel its working and make you dependent on it. Its a psychological plan.

Conclusion:

1. People need more scientific training into Ayurveda and Homeopathy.

2. Till then, such centers should be closed. They are misleading people into false belief.

3. Government must bring it under health care umbrella and make them accountable for the treatment plan.

5. we know what is the disease by doing tests

6. what is causing this by again doing tests

7. what has historically or scientifically helped people like us with more study.
