We visited Nalanda ruins on our trip to patna, since we were staying in magadha inn which was close to this place so decided to visit .As soon as you reach there you will be greeted by a slew of guides we picked some one in random he took 300 rs which was fine and showed us the entire ruins which was once a university and prosperous village.
He also took us to newly constructed rekki meditation center which was relieving.Taking a guide with us was a good idea.If some one has a taste for photography then this is highly recommendable since there are lot of ancient artifacts which can be clicked for memory.Overall trip was good and satisfactory.
