I have been using this phone for 9 months now. And I am surprised to see that the performance is almost like new even now - there is very little lag. It recently got Android Marshmallow and the battery life seems to have increased as well. Though it's only 2300 mAh the battery life is comparable to other flagship smartphones.
But what makes this phone truly unique is its touchless control - voice and gesture-based commands without even needing to touch the screen. The Moto Display software is immensely useful. The bamboo wood back is another unique aspect.
The only downside of this phone is the absence of a memory card slot. Some people have complained that the screen breaks easily - I have been using a case right from the beginning and it has survived numerous drops.
