I purchased this LG 700E 17 inchmonitor in November 2005. Within 2 months it got a strange problem. It is forgetting the adjustments made to the colour, size and shape settings done from the monitor’s front panel. After switching off and on the monitor reverts to the default settings. The LG technician was speechless about the problem and said he is seeing such a problem the first time. I got a replacement after this.
I agree with manchandap (another user who reviewed the same monitor) this is the worst monitor I had seen under LG flagship. The build quality and the picture quality is poor. And also this monitor has
NO ANTI-GLARE coating
NO ANTI-RADIATION coating and
NO ANTI-STATIC coating
to its screen.
(These "No coating" things are the facts given in the Monitor manual !!)
So NO PROTECTION AGAINST
GLARE
RADIATION
STATIC ELECTRICITY
If you spend long hours with your computer, beware don’t purchase this monitor.
These things are very basic and come with even very low end monitors.
Strange LG dropped these important features for a 17 inch monitor !!!
My rating to this monitor is: WORST.
