My name is Saba Khan and by profession I'm an HR Recruiter. On 22nd Feb 2025..


I started receiving calls and messages from L&T finance company saying I'm eligible for 10 lacs pre-approved personal loan. I kept ignoring their calls and notifications. Then I spoke to Rukmini Karande who convinced that this is very simple process so I agreed for 3 lacs loan so I can use for my masters and despite I had excellent Repayment track record with great bankers such as Tata Capital, Poonawalla, Axis Bank, Credit Siaison, etc and have with zero bounces and credit score of 750+.. it was a big mistake to opt L&T finance. After discussing with my husband I decided to go for whole 10 lacs and so I opted to proceed.


On 22nd Feb, after my whole login process was done over the call then I was told field verification will happen same day but that never happened and next day on 23rd Feb 2025.. one field rep has come and I was told they will call and then come to my place which he never did. He came and asked me 4/5 questions (my name, how many earning members, duration in this house, purpose and show them my Aadhaar and Pan Card)... this all was done correctly and he also asked me for electricity bill so I replied I pay online and paper bills don't come.. God knows what feedback he noted but next morning Monday 24th Feb 25 again I received a call stating field verification will happen again, I asked them what went wrong.. answer is not sure but some issue.. what is the issue.. no idea.. what time the executive will come... no idea.. again same fellow came asking me same set of questions.. viewing same set of docs again on which I upfront showed him my driving license which was also on the same address and again he left and next day 25th Feb 2025, I received a call from PRASHANT SUTTAR who is again asking me same things and stating well the Field Executive checked with one of my neighbors and they don't recognize me and gave negative feedback... no professionalism on which my answer is I don't gel with my building people because of the toxic mentality and I prefer to be to myself plus why should I introduce to anyone to show them know me... in today's digital world my Repayment track record which is shown in via my bank statements is not accountable instead my neighbour's feedback is what they consider as deciding factor.. I informed Prashant with all these negative beginning I wish to withdraw my application.. he stated he will check and later will inform.. then I called Rukmini who by now has blocked my number.. I called L&T customer service and some Kritika spoke and after listening she said she will get her manager to speak with me.. I clearly told her I'M no longer interested but wanted to highlight how poorly the whole process was handled / tackled which is why I called and even if her manager is informed about it.. I'm fine with that because now nothing will change. Then I received call from the manager Mr. KANTESH KRISHNAM who will all his years of experience and training talks consoled me and offered apology stating how badly this is handled and now he will personally handle this and I'm not going to get any calls and all he want is my rent agreement which could have asked initially.. he gave me his official email id and also called me to confirm we have given a strong feedback to the Field Executive.. I asked him what is his name and he said no idea because I got his vendor ID, I mean wow no words. After emailing by rent agreement on 25th Feb 25 in afternoon..I didn't bothered about it and in the evening.. messaged Mr manager to see what is the outcome and Mr professional blocked Me after reading my message and 2 mins later I'm getting L&T finance message we regret that we cannot grant you loan.. I wanted to reply thank you for not granting me a loan so I don't regret for next few months or 48 months... because THE WHOLE L&T FINANCE STARTING FROM THEIR TELECALLER TO PHONE VERIFICATION TO FIELD VERIFICATION TO CALLERS CALLING IN BETWEEN TO MANAGER... EVERYBODY ARE UNPROFESSIONALS AND A STRONG ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST THE L&T FINANCE... the process which was supposedly to be stress-free added so much of stress and again n again I was told by PRASHANT SUTTAR that if I stay in a bldg for 3 Years or so... I should be talking to people n they should speak abt me... how old fashioned way.. because why on gods sake these factors are accountable... I'm glad I withdraw my application verbally before they sending me the message but want to make sure others don't opt for this institution....
