I have a mixed feeling for this multiplex. I just cannot say the bad things only. That would be a lie. I will first tell you the good things about this place. The ambience is good as it should be in any multiplex. It really offers the cheaper rate of tickets compared to many other multiplexes.
The only thing which bothered me is their Streoscopic 3D Movie experience. Today is the age of 3D movies. Being a modern multiplex if you can not offer viewers immersive 3D experience then it is your failure.
Although it is situated within a couple of blocks from my residence I I find this multiplex not at all recommendable if we are going to watch a 3D movie.
The last time I visited it with my kid for watching Tintin 3D. First of all the viewing glasses were all severely scratched. I asked them to change it but all of the glasses had same condition.
They could easily afford to change these inexpensive glasses after few viewings. No, they will not. They want to save more money at cost of your discomfort.
Then inside the hall the brightness of the whole movie was so dim and the glasses were so dark we ended up straining our eyes to get a good view. My kid tried to look at the movie without the glasses which felt better. But how can you see layered projection without glasses. It will be all blurred. Very soon we all lost our interest in the movie. A Sunday with my kid which was supposed to be fun ended up ruined.
So whenever we plan for a 3D movie Inox: Hiland Park remains out of my list even it is nearer and more affordable to me. I just try to look out if they are the showing the 2D version of the movie. Its like alas they are again screening the 3D version.we have to find another multiplex.'
