I had planned a trip from Pune to Indore from Hans Travels, by their so called Volvo Multi Axel with Ladies toilet etc facility bus. Had a literal life threatening experience during the travel. Due to their ill maintenance bus broke down just after 3 hours of travel in the mid of the
jungle. Passengers had to evacuate the bus as in the month of may it was suffocating to sit in the AC bus without AC and all the lights were also pulled off. So to summarise below is the detail of events that happened that night
*Date of Travel - 13th May 2016*
*Travels - Hans Travels Indore*
*Bus Type - Volvo A/C Multi Axle Sleeper(2+1)*
*Fare - Rs. 2000(approx)*
Events -
Bus started from Sangamwadi Pune around 7:30 PM
Reached to some stop for dinner etc
Started from that place around 11 PM
Ran for just half an hour and broke down at 11:30 PM, around 15 kms before Ahmed Nagar on Bypass Road.
Staff pulled off the lights, AC everything and made us sit at middle of the road, as it was mid jungle in mid night, there was no place to go and staff was trying to save battery.
There was no light except our mobile phones(bus was also kept in dark, fearing serious accidents at high way)
Engineer was called to repair the bus, that person came at 4 AM in the morning, took almost 1:30 hours to repair it.
At 5:30 AM in the morning, we started again, bus ran for just 30 minutes and broke again.
When I did not see any happening, I just took a bus which was coming from Indore to Pune and headed back to Pune
During all this hassles, there was no assistance provided by the staff not their customer care ppl. They simply left the passengers in the jungle. When contacted they even dint bother to talk nicely. They are such a big operators easily they could have organised a different bus for us.
Literally entire night we had to spend sitting on Highway. **Had safety issues.*
My advice to one and all is to **avoid Hans Travels**.
*Hans Travels has become a synonym for Pathetic Service.*
