Hi and happy Holi to all MSians,
Well, I have completed almost one year in MS and I am extremely crazyabout this wonderful site. During my summer holidays, I got the net connection and I was searching for something new and innvative. I don't want , even to be a member of Orkut and Facebook...Didi know the reason.....I am really scared of Orkut and Facebook....Then I found this great site and my entry to MS was rather dull.
You know, I started with criticizing a person, whom now I love very much. But after that, I started getting a lot of friends, critics, family members and ofcource a lot more...But I have gained a lot of other things as a student....
1. Prayers: I believe in "With God I am a hero and without God I am a zero". I have written a post telling bye to all of you. But now , I am here again. My exams are nearing and I am a tension-party like many of the teenagers. But my friends and supporters in MS really instilled confidence in me in that post. My dear friend even broke a coconut and send me a piece too! I think after that, I felt a kind of protection and courage to face the exams.
2. Language: I have to study English as one of my subjects. I have to write poems of my own. We will be asked to write Essays for the exams and the topics would be like- "Global disorders and Economic downfall" and what I will do now is- I will first write that this topic is very relevant and start writing about everything I know about Globe, economics, Falling and about Olympics, SRK and everything. Actually, I think I have really improved my language since I became a member of Mouthshut. I have learnt how to frame a sentence, grammar, etc. And my marks are improving!!!!
3. Friends and Family members: Atfirst I thought that I may be isolated because I am a mallu, but then I was shocked to find a lot of Mallus here. I am the sinle child of my parents but now, I have my sweet Didi, Sir(s), close and closest friends, Uncles , Auntys, brothers, sisters, teachers, etc,etc and etc.I really like to conduct an All India trip when I complete my studies......Even a World tour!
- Gifts: Oh My God! I think virtual gifts are really interesting. Cakes, chocolates. wishes , ornaments and lot more. I think even in a Supermarket we won't get this.I think these gifts are a symbol of love, affection and prayers.
5. National and International Unity: We believe in "Vasudaiva Kudumbakam" according to which all the living things are members of one family. MS is doing a great job in bringing people from different parts of the World and the country close and united. We laugh, cry and protest together. I think this is one of the major attractions of MS.
6.Talents and Skills: MS is the best place where we can exhibit our skills and talents in writing, explaining and criticizing things. And our works will be judged by the other gems who will give us methods to improve.
7. Personality devolpement: I have devolped a lot since I joined MS. From a very sensitive, hot-tempered, careless personality I have changed to a more sweet person because of the care of MSians. I also studied to remain confident and Hardworking , whatever the problem is.
8. Products: I think I came to know about a lot of brands, books and people from MS which help me to lead a quality life. I can also share what I know about these thongs. I have studied new words and I can ask doubts.
9. Self-Satisfaction: I think this is something important and straight from the heart. I really love to write revus and posts and wait for the comments and rating, anxiously.I will bite my nails, scream, drink water, pray, pray and pray after writing. You know, this is something exciting, If the revu is rated Very Useful, I will have a special satisfaction and if not, I will try my level best next time.
10. Advises from elders, Love and Entertainment: I don't know how to describe the love, joy and excitement I got from MS. I think many of the MS members are a guide to my ways. I like to express my gratitude to all MS members now....Thank you.
These are only a few things I gained from MS. There is no 'my' here, only 'ours'. I don't have any bad opinion about MS. But, I think advertisements will help MS to gain more popularity....But I know that, we the members are the best ads.....
