This WAS probably the best private hospital in North East India a long time ago. Equipped with the best qualified medical pros in the field. Price charged WAS very reasonable for many procedures and tests. The surgical procedures HAD impeccable record or so we hear.
Staff and doctors WERE very kind and polite with the exception of a negligibly very few rotten apples which now are more common place than ever before. Spacious parking lot in the basement of the 3rd building.
Now the cons. Maintenance is horrible. The walls need paint, The equipment need paint too and the wheelchairs and stretchers all need fresh paint. In fact the whole hospital need to do a total check on maintenance and hygiene issues as many rooms are biological hazards from aflatoxin moulds and C.difficile.
A small investment in architectural improvements and indoor aesthetics will go a long way in making this hospital fit into the 3-4 star segment
With maintenance issues fixed, this hospital is a NABH hopeful.
Update In December 2021-
This hospital has had an exodus of experienced doctors who have left for other hospitals in Guahati, pan India or abroad. Quality has sufferred considerably and after the Covid thingie are now preying on innocent victims with redundant surgeries and therapies which when refused turn patients into covid inmates and then fatalities. Careful what you wish for. A coffin awaits at the slightest slip of tongue
