Until recently, I did not know that there existed a Cinemax in Ghatkopar East. It was only when I was looking for an Avengers: Age of Ultron(3D) show on a Saturday evening that I stumbled upon this movie theatre. 180 for a 3D movie on a Saturday with ticket availability sounded like music to my ears. With the convenience charges levied by Bookmyshow, it cost me Rs.400 for two people. Good enough. Pretty close to the Ghatkopar station in the R Odeon Mall, we could've even walked had we known the way.
Collected tickets from the box office and proceeded to the theatre. Crowd was pretty decent. Had time to kill, started looking for food. Best part - they have a Torrp it up stall in the theatre. For 150 you get good chicken sub, better way to spend money than pop corn. Its super tasty.
We went in for the show. Collected the glasses, weren't so clean, had to rub wet wipes quite a few times, to get it working for the movie. Picture and sound quality weren't so bad. The seats however felt uncomfortable and small. The auditorium was good. Decent place to watch a movie. With that price on a Saturday, its a paisa vasool.
