I would have disconnected BSNL longtime back but I do not have the option.BSNL has good coverage, i.e. there are many places in country where no one else is providing the broadband except them.
Their price at par with others even on places where they are having no competitors because they are keeping same price all over india.
Their support is worst, because old guys who used to work on analog telephony are not working on Mobile & broadband platform. Also they do not have will, and system is not there to give 24 x 7 support like Airtel.
Speed promised is too high then what they actually give. I will suggest do not go for anything over 2 MBPS, BSNL systems are not good to give high speed connections. My review of individual connections:-
