Cinematography:

Im the biggest fan of Tiger Shroff, and Baaghi 4 was the most-awaited movie that I was waiting for to release to watch on the first day, first show. It is the fourth installment of the Baaghi Franchise, directed by A. Harsha and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The best part is that the movie was released today, on 5th September, which was a holiday. So it was also the most exciting reason behind watching this exciting movie on the release day. The movie is packed with action and psychological thriller, which is more emotional and intense compared to its other Baaghi films.

The Plot:

The movie revolves around Ronny(Tiger Shroff), who suffers a train accident that breaks him emotionally, and he starts seeing visions of a woman named Alisha(Harnaaz Sandhu), whom he believes he loves, but nobody else knows anything about it, and they think that he has lost his mind. As he tries to figure out the truth, he is caught between truth and reality. His brother Jeetu(Shreyas Talpade) tried to convince him that the girl for whom he is mourning exists only in his dream. But he is still busy discovering the truth about his love and discovers Chaco(Sanjay Dutt), a powerful man who may be connected to the mystery that Ronny is trying to solve.

The performance:

The performance of all the characters in the movie is great. Tiger Shroff has shown performing as grieving Ronny, which is a more powerful and aggressive yet influential role to date. His character is most powerful and the central charm of the movie, where he has played the role of a man who suffers a traumatic accident, leading to guilt, grief, and a fractured state of mind, where he questions reality.

Apart from him, other characters like Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa have brought a sense of glamour and emotional depth to the film. Sanjay Dutt has also set his different place in the movie, being a lead villain in the movie who created buzz. Although he has done a great job in the movie, no doubt, somewhere I felt that his performance was uninspired, consisting of a tired routine.

Standout Elements:

Some of the standout elements that have the potential to keep you hooked with the movie are its ultra-violent, gritty action style with intense, brutal sequences, and Tiger Shroffs intense, gravity-defying action. Also, Sunjay Dutt's role as a violent antagonist was different. The way it clashes brutally with Shroff in epic face-offs is just outstanding in many scenes. The movie doubles down on the entertainment by psychological thriller elements with intense action, emotional weight, and gritty atmosphere. And the one thing I really liked a lot about this movie is its strong female presence, which is not just ornamental but takes on fierce, action-oriented scenes that match the lead's intensity.

The visuals and technical style are just awesome, and its polished cinematography has elevated the signature Baaghi action aesthetics. The editing and thoughtful colour palette have given the movies visuals a new height despite occasional VFX shortcomings.

Should You Watch it?

If you like action-packed movies and fan of Tiger Shroff like me definitely worth watching. The acting of characters is more than expected as Harnaaz Sandhu has debuted through this movie and has purely justified her character. But the story itself is not as inspiring as I thought it to be. Also, in some scenes, Sanjays role was also pretty uninspired and felt like over, which was not needed. The movie has suffered purely from its poor writing, which made it an exhausting action reel rather than a coherent drama. In short, if youre an action lover, then you must go; otherwise, there is nothing extraordinary in the movie to keep you tuned till the end.
