Worst Sikkim Travel Experience with Antilog

I wanted to share one of the worst travel experiences with Antilog that I ever had. We did a group booking for 15 people to Sikkim for 9 days. They collected the entire payment in advance. They will only speak to you until the payment is over. Rest everything is over email. Reaching them by phone is a mammoth task. They will hand over your trip to some 3rd party. In case of any issue, you have to directly deal with the 3rd party. You can't reach out Antilog.


In our case, it was handed over to one Mr.Anand and he THEN subcontracted to another local vendor. Our problem started at the Bagdogra airport. We were promised Innova and with luggage carrier vehicles. But none of the vehicles had luggage carrier. It took 2 hours to sort out the problem standing in the middle of the road. Afterwards, in two places they have given bad stay(1 home stay kind of rooms and 1 was under renovation, food was pathetic) while they took money for 3 star type hotels for all 9 days. We got to know our hotel change only at the last minute. I do agree that two hotels were good. But then why 3 star price for all the hotels?.


I can continue to list everything, but it doesn't take us anywhere. They didn't pay back the difference in the hotel booking. So please be careful if you are travelling with Antilog. I used them for Singapore and Malaysia. The trip was a very good and memorable one. Now I realize, it all depends on the local operator and not Antilog. They take the money and the rest is left to the local operators.
