For a generation of 'aspiring couples' and I say that keeping in mind the tougher part of relationships that would follow the rather joyous times in the academic phase in colleges all over, AkaashVaani should be able to strike a chord with anyone who can relate with the idea of bringing a love affair to a full circle. The deliberate cliches in the romantic parts and realistic situations in the other seem to work but the avoidable detailing that adds considerably and alarmingly at times to the length can make one crib at times too. In all, the idea of the movie is not just of a chocolaty romantic flick but to bring out the issues more contemporary to this generation of B and C cities. 3 stars.
