'Beep Beep' - my cell phone rang, it was a message from Faisal. I hate it when any one disturbs me when I'm sleeping while traveling to office in the local train. I gave thousands of bad words in my mind as I open his message. It says 'Happy Birthday Bro', I gave a weird smile to the message, ignored it and went back to sleep.
A few minutes later, again my cell phone rang – ‘Beep Beep’, I was totally pissed off with the phone and messages now. But I thought to give a look, as it might be my boss' message for any important update on the site, but unfortunately it was Ajinkya's message. I said f**k what now, and started reading his message. It had a lovely message written on the top and in the end note Happy Birthday. A thousand of bad words again ran in my mind for both of them, as it was not my birthday today. It was only 20th day of July and there are still few days remaining for my birthday. I thought to whack their asses once I reach in office.
A message from Ajinkya pop-up on my desktop screen, as soon as he saw my name in an internal messaging system. The message reads – ‘Aaj Bhabhi Ko Dekha Kya? Ekdum Item Lag Rahi Hain’. If he would have been in front of me, I would have surly kick his balls, for using ‘ITEM’ word for my girl. But I ignored his message and started doing my regular morning updation on my official site.
Little while later, Faisal and Ajinkya came to my department, both singing birthday song for me. Well they expected me to give them a warm hug but I kicked their asses, for they have forgotten my birthday, that it’s not on 20th but a few days later. Ajinkya in his original tone spoke up – ‘Abey Chomo, We Know Its Not Your Birthday, But Bhabhi Ka Birthday Hain Aur Jake Dekh Usko Kya Mast Lag Rahi Hai’. I wanted to go and see her at once they told me, but I couldn't as my work was not done and I have to complete it any how before the lunch time.
Some how I manage to complete my work at 12.45 pm and before the clock hit at 1pm I was at the reception to see her. But today she was not there; don't know why she was not at reception. I thought may be my friends must be joking with me and she would have not come to office today. The game started, I was waiting for her to come out while others were waiting for their turn to play snooker.
Suddenly the main door open and she entered at reception, my jaw was wide open looking at her and the first thinking that came in my mind was – WOW. She wore a felt red – grey colour top and black pencil skirt. She looks ravishing. I stand and stare at her, while she came at reception, sat at her regular place and started reading her newspaper. Un-noticing by others at the reception, I peep at her and was shock to see even she was staring at me while she pretend to read newspaper. She kept staring at me while I keep noticing her. Finally she signaled at me raising her head... as though she wanted to ask me what the hell are you staring? I shook my head left and right indicating nothing.
I couldn’t go to her and wish in front of all, so I sign her to come to me. Ajinkya and Faisal giggled in one side of the reception, as they noticed me and her signalling. I am pretty sure that day for the first time even she wanted to talk to me, but there was nothing in common between us about which we can talk. But I somehow wanted to start talking to her. So, I signal her again to come.
She got up from her seat, and started to walk. I was scared, did I do any wrong by signalling her, as she walk angrily towards me. Before I could react to anything, she was right in front of me, everyone at the pool table started staring at us. For the first time I thought God I’m gone now, she will slap me in front of all for doing that weird act but she smiled and gave her hand, I in my greedy intention wanted to grab her, but controlled my feelings. We shook our hands – The feeling was amazing, when our hands TOUCH each other. It was like the romantic scene of a Hindi film. A boy and a girl meet in a public place, a gentle touch; everyone goes on silent mode, meeting of eyes for a couple of seconds.
A good jerk from Faisal’s heavy weight body was enough to get me back on my terra firma from the dream world. The rest of the afternoon, we three didn’t play the snooker at all. Our mission was accomplished; at least I have achieved something till now, from a stranger to the office colleagues and from the office colleagues to a known face now. The entire day was spend dreaming about her and thinking different plans and reasons to talk to her somehow and somewhere!!!
