Good value for money. Review on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

I have been a proud owner of a Xiaomi Mi3 for 1.5 years. It has also survived an accidental water bucket dip. I was looking for a suitable upgrade when the Redmi Note 3 was introduced recently. Throughout each sale, I was trying to get my hands on the 32 GB gold model but it was always sold out. I finally had to settle for the 16 GB version. The RAM on the 16 GB internal memory model is 2 GB whereas for the 32 GB model, it's 3 GB RAM.

Pros on the phone:

1. 5.5 inch Full HD(FHD) screen - videos look beautiful. 2. MIUI 7 which is quite user friendly. 3. Dual sim 4G(2nd sim can either house nano sim or 16 GB memory card). 4. Super fast finger print sensor unlock(can store multiple finger prints to unlock). 5. Full metal aircraft grade aluminium body(gold looks beautiful). 6. Longer lasting 4050 Mah battery. 7. Dual sim does not affect battery life

Cons:

1. Fingerprint sensor keeps getting pressed when phone is in jeans and then you need to use code to unlock since sensor does not accept fingerprints after certain number of attempts 2. In dual sim mode, One sim will work with 4g/3g and the other sim is 2g via settings usually. 3. Memory card in 2nd sim slot has no use since nothing gets stored in it even when it gets detected.
