If you want to achieve your resolution you gotta track your activity,
mi band 4 comes with more or less 6 trackers/workout modes, while on the other hand, other bands have nearly 8-10 at the same price.
The water-resistance certification is also not improved much,
It comes with 50M water resistance and 3 axis sensor.
furthermore, it doesn't have any feature through which we can access some controls of the phone like clicking pictures with the camera, switching music.
The only thing which is impressive is the battery which lasts up to nearly 18 days(depending on the usage).
It also has some problems while tracking the sleep during the day time.
The features of mi band 4 can be accessed with some third party application but you need to have a different application for every single different feature which sometimes gets annoying.
It doesn't have any official application for accessing features

If you own a mi band 3 you definitely don't have to upgrade.
