I would like to share my personal experience with you, buying the Wakefit sofa.


Here’s what happened with my purchase:


I decided to buy a sofa. When it was delivered, I noticed that two of the legs didn't touch the ground and the foam quality was inconsistent, despite their promise of 40 density foam. Some of the cushions were clearly not up to this standard.


I promptly requested a replacement. Although Wakefit offers a replacement option on their website, it seems to be just for show. When I contacted customer care, they assured me that a carpenter would come to fix the issue within 24 to 48 hours.


However, considering the situation, it felt strange that a brand-new sofa worth ₹50, 000 was already being discussed for repairs instead of a replacement. Despite my repeated calls and being told to wait another 48 hours each time, 30 days passed without any resolution or repair.


The replacement request was still pending, and reaching out to their escalation points yielded no results as they also resorted to the 48-hour promise.


Ultimately, I had to hire a carpenter myself to repair the new sofa I had purchased for ₹50, 000.


From my experience, here’s what I understood about Wakefit:


Their products have significant quality issues.


The quality shown in their service center does not match what is delivered.


The wood quality is poor, allowing them to sell at lower prices.


While they started with good-quality mattresses, their expansion into other products has compromised their reliability.


Once you purchase something from them(other than mattresses), you are stuck. They may talk about repairs for a ₹50, 000 product instead of offering a replacement.


Despite their claims of a return and replacement policy, they do not honor it in practice.


Overall, I would advise caution when buying Wakefit products other than mattresses.


Their replacement claims are unreliable, and their customer service can make your experience quite frustrating. For solving the issues with newly bought product you might need to call them 20-30 times so be ready.
