Visit only for the Ambience and Theme. Review on Village The Soul of India, Hadapsar, Pune

We were looking for a place to have lunch during office hours and this place seemed closeby. We were in for a pleasant surprise when we reached the place. It has got some funny, rustic posters and sime funny yet charming village themes on display. There's a jail with staff serving you in prisoner uniform, a malish centre, an astrologist, balloon shooting, etc for timepass. The whole place is colourfully decorated like a mela. In terms of food, the chat and desserts were good. The welcome drink was ok. We got to choose between Jal Jeera and rose milk. There were dosa and pav bhaji stalls too and they were good. The Non veg main course however was not upto mark. Zunka bhakri and pulao on the veg side were good. The other dishes were not that great. The butter milk was quite watery. Overall, a place to be visited for the ambience only. The paan and astro services cost extra. For Rs.560/- per head, it does not offer the right quality of food as yet in spite of the variety
