*Tagore Institute of Medical Science and Research Center** is situated at new Airport road Chennai. It is located closed to the Chennai city near Airport circle. It is well established in open area away from crowded place in good atmospheric zone.
Mr SF Sharma is the director general of the DMRC Chennai. There are approximately 50 to 55 employees are working. It is one of the 33 permanent institute of Indian council of medical research. It makes the good coordination for bio-medical research with other institutes in the country.
There are staff of technical, medical, ministry, lab asst,
administrative, field workers and teaching staff are employed. All the employees are very knowledgeable and hard working. They very keen towards their duties. The employed interest also looked after very well. They get good salary with bonas and other increments. Their future is secured by the center with pension after retirement. The center produce medicines and vaccines for many diseases like water and food borne and vector borne diseases, diabetes, hypertension,
asthma, bronchitis, malaria, dengue, AIDS, hepatitis etc. They also conduct timely meetings and workshop for medical and any other institute related issues.
