Sabarimala in Kerala, India is a Hindu pilgrimage.
To reach there you have to travel to the nearest airport or station and then by road .
Places to visit in Sabarimala are Ayyappa temple, Malikapurathu Amma Temple, Pamba, Erumeli, Pathanamthitta, etc.
There are quite many hotels for tourists so you can accommodation there.
It is a place filled with devotees and can be considered as a safe place but you have to be careful if there is too much crowd at anytime.
