During our recent site-seeing visit to Hyderabad, we accidentally visited this Saree store and fell in love with this brand. The store was awesome with some really good quality stuff. The choices were wide and I was thoroughly impressed.
Brand: Their website claims, the brand to be have founded in 1928, as a small store, primarily catering to Silk Sarees in Chennai.
The Store: We visited their Hyderabad store, which is centrally located at Begumpet in a famous area called Shamlaal on the Sardar Patel road. It's a huge G+1 building with plenty of space. Store was clean, with huge mirrors on the walls, kids friendly (my kids had a good time, running around, playing with no concerns raised by the shop) and importantly with seating arrangements (this came as a big relief to my husband, who usually gets bored standing, waiting for me to finish with the selection). Most stores, don't really care for the customers, expecting them to stand for long time while you choose your Saree.
They also have stores in other major cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and so on.
Variety: The store primarily sells Sarees, however they also had Dress material, Kurta, Salwar Kameej, Bottoms, Anarkali, matching blouse piece material etc.
In Sarees, I was happy to see they had plenty to offer like: Silk, Cotton, Jute Silk, Bhagalpuri Silk, Georgette, Chiffon, Nav-Vari, Nav-Vari Cotton, Kanchipuram, Mysore Silk, Chanderi Silk, Coimbatore Silk and so on.
You will find a Saree for every occasion here.
Price: All you need is money! Sarees are available from Rs. 200 to 20k! For average customer you can easily buy some decent Sarees between 1k-3k.
After coming home, I googled and found that one can also choose and buy variety of Sarees from their online portal.
Overall, I am very happy having found this place, the next I will try to purchase some from their online portal for the experience.
