WORST! There are only two things that will attract you towards this place .(1) - Just before the kabaliswarar temple(2) - the words "mylai", "mess". But its complete cheating.
Dont get deceived by the word "mess" or the location. The food is very costly and it doest quality for even basic taste.
We ordered 3 items - Adai, onion dosa & Masala dosa. All the three were below standards and the avial(that came along with adai) carried only the name as avial and never close to it.
The only heartening thing is that they keep the sambhar container in your table you unlike other places where they give you in cups.
It is very expensive also - for these three items it costed us Rs.300(they accept cards).
I woudnt say it is totally untidy or the service was bad - but for sure they didnt show any positive indication on maintaining hygiene and the service was also very normal. You can easily skip giving tips.
by the way, there is no concept of meals. rice items are served/sold individually(like sambar sadam, thayir sadam etc.).
so again, even if you are in extreme hunger, do not visit this place looking for any authentic/traditional/home made etc.etc. the word "MESS" will highly mislead you
