This Corporation MSRDC was apparently Created to improve the Road infrastructure in Maharashtra in 1996. That this experiment was not very successful is clear going by the poor state of state Roads. I have travelled offlate extensively in parts of Maharashtra and found that the thew Roads are mostly bumpy.
The Roads that I Travelled upon were:
Bidar- Chakur
Nanded to Secunderabad(Maharastra Portion)
Nanded to Aurangabad
The intervening stretches of NH were quite alright though even those are not of Quality comparable to the South. In case of Bidar-Chakur and Nanded-Hyderabad, the state Boarders can be identified from the change in Road Surface.
Most parts are highly pot-holed and even where they are in a OK condition it is acheived by patch work rather than repaving.
It high time the MSRDC and Govt does something to improve the state of affairs.
