I wanted to transfer my loan from LIC to another bank as they are currently charging me exorbitant rate of interest i.e. at 11.7% pa for home loan for a salaried female. The process of balance transfer turned out to be really unpleasant one. Their staff is unresponsive to emails. They dont answer calls on any landline numbers. When you visit them personally they will give you half information inspite of asking them 10 times on the procedure of foreclosure. Jogeshwari Branch is the worst branch of LICHFL. None of the emails sent to their branches are addressed.
