I have been using a Kingstone Data Traveler Pendrive from 5 years . I had purchased this 4 GB pendrive from Chandni Market at 400/- . Various type of Kingstone pendrive are available in market . As per my experience it is a average quality pendrive .
First of all it provide low speed during both time Read & Write . During Write it provide 3 MBPS to 4 MBPS . During read it provide around 4.5 MBPS . Our first requirements is speed of a pendrive . If I copy many files at once it's speed come down at KBPS . It take too much time to complete copy .As it provide low speed, it is not recommend . It is not look like very good . Some pendrive's look are average & some are below average .
One time one person gave me a Dell Pendrive made by Kingstone to copy there some movie . I faced big trouble when I try open it's metal USB port to insert it in computer's port . After trying for some time, I was able to do this . Then again I faced another problem when I tried to insert it in computer port . Actually, it's total design was bad . This pendrive also provide very low speed . It took too much time to complete the work .
Some Kingstone pendrive are very tight to insert it in computer port . So, it is big problem to insert & eject on Computer port .
As it's main features copy speed is very low & it is not available at a good reasonable price . So, overall it's price is expensive .
I have noticed a unwanted problem on this pendrive that it didn't work on some computer . During emergency when I went on cyber cafe to print out something, I saw my pendrive didn't show . As a result, I was unable to do my work . That time I face big big trouble .
Now recently, I faced another problem on my pendrive that is some time, my pendrive don't work . I mean when I insert it in computer it is not showing as a drive . So, I need to try eject & insert it again & again . Some time it is ejected automatically .
Only good features of the pendrives are -
Longevity of the pendrive is good .
Kingstone pendrive are available in market . Every time when I went any shop, I must see Kingstone pendrive are available .
One time I had used a Kingstone USB 3.0 port pendrive . Only this pendrive satisfyed me . It provide around 15 MBPS copying speed . It is only good Kingstone Pendrive which I have seen ever .
So, from above experiences I say maximum Kingstone Data Traveler pendrive are average quality . It don't have good speed . Any one can try Kingstone Data Traveler USB 3.0 Pendrive as I had seen it's good speed .
