After a British woman found raw giblets in her KFC meal, Australian man, Mark Scholls, was in for a shocking and disgusting experience when he nearly swallowed on a vile intact lung from what he thought was a piece of chicken breast.
"It was disgusting, " Nicholls told the Daily Mail Australia. "It was absolutely vile."
The IT technician stopped at KFC Labrador during his day off to order a 3 piece box, with two wings and a chicken breast for$12.50 only to get the worst surprise of my life', in his words.
"I pulled a piece off [of the breast], then found that and spat the rest out, " he added.
Initially he was not offered a refund on alerting staff was asked to contact the KFC customer service instead.
A KFC spokesman said that the flesh was most likely a chicken lung or kidney which was mistakenly not removed during preparation of the food.
