Today I'll be sharing my experience and review on the India's only online railway ticket booking portal irctc famous for its certain characteristics and features.
As India is going online slowly more and more people are opting for online services and also book railway tickets from irctc.
But as tickets for a train open at a specific time and get booked with few hours the irctc was always very slow and it would take minutes for a seconds task. Also the user interface is so bad that a first time user gets confused and needs help.
Also only people with good internet connection only could book tickets and majority of these people would be travel agents, etc which would sell for more price later.
But the revamped irctc is very good and fast and has eliminated the frustration of the users. The site is much easier to use and get the tickets booked and retrieve information from it. Also irctc works as shopping portal with products sold on it for more revenue.
So the new irctc is very good and works well and would recommend it and rate it 4.5
