Movies are supposed to take you to a dream world and make you forget everything else, however these days when you go to watch a movie in theaters majority of the times you would come out with a kick of reality that restricts you from getting transported to this dream world, in short sub standard cinema is what you get treated with.

Inception is one such exception you would be fool enough to miss. I became a Christopher Nolan fan after he gave a new lease of life to Batman series and raised the level further with Dark Knight, it was then I watched memento an d I was in awe for this director. He challenges your wits and treats your senses with intelligent and entertaining cinema which is a difficult in my opinion while the rest of the herd is out there to insult your taste for movies.

Inception is a breakthrough movie in terms of the subject it relates to, our human mind which has being fascinating scientists for so many years. It is as vast as an endless sea to be explored and our dreams expand the dimension further allowing us to escape reality when we want to. Nolan hits the right spot here and right from the word go he pulls you into his story and experience what a mind like him can create for us.

The story of the movie that starts with a regular mind stealing mission that goes wrong, Leonardo DiCaprio as Cobb portrays character of a guilt ridden mind thief seeking redemption and a desire to get back to his children, He is then offered a mission from his unknown client Saito(Ken Watanabe) to plot an idea in the mind of his competitor's son. Leonardo with his team embarks on his mission to perform a possible but very dangerous task of planting an idea in the mind of a person which would require them to travel from dreams within dreams, which is depicted very aptly in a scene where Leonardo and Ellen Page(as Ariadne) stand in front of two mirrors place on opposite sides and they see an array of their own reflections before those mirrors break.

The biggest plus for the movie is the way in which story unfolds on to the viewer, it does not take the level of thinking one would have to put in order to understand a movie like memento, you cannot call it a complete sci-fi movie as well because there are no flying bullets and slow motion action overdose, no one chasing a rabbit hole. Nolan treats his dream world like a big canvas where he paints the world around us in a complete different way, making you ask a question to yourself can our world be like that as well? while some of us like to be in this dream world forever you are bound to get a kick from reality that is obviously going to wake you up from this dream. This message comes across well from the director who is successfully able to give an emotional touch to the story amidst the parallel action and drama that runs with the other characters of the story.

As Leonardo truly quotes in the movie to Cillan Murphy(as Robert Fischer) "You never know where and how you entered in a dream, or what did you exactly see at the start of your dream. it is always in the end or in middle of a dream that you wake up". Our mind does have the capability to make our dreams come true and one can also relate to different layers of our personality we carry, so it's not just with the dreams of our mind. I notice that the movie with subtitles in english, probably it was a wise move to have them since the overall subject of the movie is as complex as our brains. If you are accustomed of leaving your brains home while watching movies and prefer popcorn entertainment this movie would not appeal your taste and would strain your brains slightly.

Sound score by Hans Zimmer is enchanting to the theme of the movie and Nolan has picked up most of the star cast in the movie from his Batman Movie series, namely Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe and Cillian Murphy. You would love to go into different layers of the dream Nolan has constructed and an equally exhilarating experience coming out from these layers of dreams as you progress towards the final frames of the movie, the director would leave you startled with another twist that left me speechless for a moment.

I felt like the director had given me the final kick waking me up from his dream world, I wished only if I would have not being woken up from this dream. GO WATCH THIS
