Most of have the Honda Activa. It has become the part in Indian Driving society. Its stylish, its trendy and gives a much different feel than the conventional scooter.
Why We Bought Activa?
We were looking for a alternative to scooter and a quick city commuter in traffic. In that need Activa seemed to fit the bill properly.
Likes:
Brand Honda. Sleek and stylish. Good Servicing support.
Driving Experience & Dislikes:
The drive is smooth. It fast, good pick up and quick. But there in also is related my dislikes about the Activa. I feel the Activa is a very unsafe. Why? Its has a huge pick up and braking is not good. Its has a huge chance of skidding. The Activa like any scooter has a rear heavy design and in case of sudden braking after a sudden speed pick up, will lead to skidding. The bike has been marketed as an easy to go bike. As a result am seeing that more and more younger generation(as young as 11 years old) driving the Activa. So here I see a marketing that is having a negative effect.
Fuel Efficiency:
Its around 40 - 50 KMPL.
Price Efficiency:
It comes at a range of price starting from 40, 000 to 60, 000 INR.
Final Verdict:
Though I do admit its a utility vehicle but I also find it unsafe. So, I would not recommend it.
