Some have all the luck..others find it thru Pizzas. Review on Femina

This one was long due for a star writer, I should be penning reviews left, right and centre.but alas! Just got around and realised that I have completed 2 glorious years at MS.so this one is for all those who still .read my reviews, rate them as VU and U's and add me to their lists.for all others.I would not even acknowledge!( Some people do not realize that years just dont matter.2 or 2, ki farak padhta hain:)

Femina! A magazine which has enchanted me for long.a magazine which is now at a staggering price of Rs 50.a magazine which I believe very clearly is designed for her niche audience.the fairer sex.the she's of the world!

Femina was never subscribed at my place.it was believed to be a gossip magazine, talking about women, their bridal wear, the season's make up tips.a magazine which had all your answers given by the "Agony aunts" who cared little on what they said.and to whom! It was one of those take- away subscriber copy which was generally used by beauty parlours and local boutiques to attract the educated( read more money-ed!) women to their respective businesses.and it worked.

Then one day. Femina realised that she was not meant for only reading.what is the use if all those pretty- nothings reading me are not being showcased. Femina Miss India's started happening.the same old story.but the packaging changed.the women now were still pretty.they stll were concerned about make up but they somewhere had a mind. A mind which had ideas.a mind which could think! Along came a soul which wanted to do charity, adopt kids.bring world harmony.you name it.they said it;-)

Femina Believe was next in line.with this the audience again turned around.They finally started realising that women had indeed changed.they may not be pretty anymore.they may not create havoc on not getting their favorite shade of lip shade.but they surely know how much investment they should be making monthly and are their EMI's on time! These women believed in themselves and the world around them vouches for it.

Indeed!

As a woman, I feel proud.because I am doing everything that I want to do.there is no one stopping me and the world around me realises that I am indeed not ignorable now! A woman has come off age and she is there to defend, debate, compete and emerge as a winner.

Femina is happy now after completing a full circle her brand embassador has now achieved a presidential status the woman who is concerned about god's calling than country calling.a woman who surely believes in keeping her family together( the pizza one and the real one!).the woman who would not be a "mute president" Did you ask dumb.?

More to the Femina power.Bring us back the Miss India's of the world for me!
