After using Tata sky for more than 5 years, I decided to switch to DishTV as I had used it before 5 years - worst decision ever. DishTV is NOT SAME what it used to be.


HD channels: Worst quality - most channels are upscaled and not really HD. I had started Youtube/Netflix on my TV just to check that my TV had not gone bad! But then realized that Nxt HD box is of no use - quality is worse than normal cable SD connection. In one TV, I was even cutting some part of screen on both sides.


Customer Service: WORST. Contacted for these issues - toll-free no - nobody to take call. Sent SMS and no answer. Tried for few days and then, got frustrated - so switched back to my Tata Sky connection. Now, they are calling and telling they can reinstall and resolve issue but no refund. I can throw in garbage but NO MORE DISHTV.


Sales Channel: Frauds - there were people who called continuously to sell(dont remember who was dealer) - they continually told that I will get good cashback and some gifts as I am one of 100 lucky customers. Once I purchased, no email/no phone call from them - not taking calls. These frauds sell it and leave it.


Overall - pathetic experience for approx a month and back to Tata Sky.
