Its a average place to spend time. Dont go with the name Scotland of India. Its a good place for them who don't want more sight seeing. Last year I went with my friend by bike from kozhikode. The bike trip was awesome. Its around 180+ km from kozhikode.
Our first destination was Dubare. We reached in afternoon. We missed the fun part of Dubare in which elephant are getting bathe. But the place was quite nice. We spend around 3 hours in Dubare. We crossed the low river by walking and spend time with seeing iconic view of the place. There are shop around Dubare where you can take refreshment. The crowd was there on that day.
After that we went for a Abbey waterfall to see which is most famous waterfall in Coorg.
The way to reach Abbey fall is awesome. You can see some good scenery while going to the Abbey fall. But the fall is not must interesting. We can see waterfall from certain distance but no-one is allowed to go nearby. After seeing socchipara waterfall in Wayand I was expecting more according to Coorg.
But after spending half an hour we left that place that place and proceed for seeing city Coorg and Raja seat point.
We reached city after one and half hour drive.
The city part is more exciting. City is more peaceful than any other city and the architecture of the city is beautifully designed. We spend time at Raja seat and scenery was beautiful and adorable. Its probably a best point for native person to spend time at that place. But all of my friend already exhausted wanted not to see more of Scotland of India. So we decided to spend remaining time at some other place.
The journey of going to Coorg and getting back is lot more fun than sightseeing.
That all about Coorg . I actually don't recommend to go Coorg if you are going along with yours friends for only sightseeing. But if you want see the beautiful city which is quite different from other cities then city is liked by you.
