I have subscribed with YouTele(previously Iqara) for an year and now thinking its enough.
Some points which I would like to make others aware of:
Iqara **delayed the installation **of connection and activate it by a complete month but they have still **charged me monthly charge**!
I used DT500 plan and recently switched to 2Mbps **plan S500**. It **says 2Mbps but **most of the times the **speed is way low **due to the linkage downtime.
As per DT500 plan I had **3GB bandwidth limit **and extra download would charge Rs.0.99/MB. Just before changing the plan(2/3 months ago), I downloaded 3.6GB on 14th of that month. So how much should I be charged extra? Rs. 600 right? NO! As per YouTele **they charge it "pro-rata" basis i.e. for 14 days I can use only 1.5 GB and rest of it is charged as per Rs.0.99/MB **. Ridiculous isn't it?!
The **customer care is lousy **department **and totally isolated from finanance/account **dept. My complaints about the over charging doesn't reach them at all! Everytime **they say that someone from YouTele will callback but no one does**.
The guys **refuse the take complaints over FAX**! They say **they don't have a FAX machine**!
So please beware if you are thinking of YouTele and rethink before you go ahead.
