Why did I go………..... My company sent me for training! (spell: FREEE!)
Where did I stay……….sukhimvit rd
What did I buy……..……whole lotta clothes & shoes
How long was I there.…… a whole week!
What did I eat…………………..everything under the south east asian sun!
How was the weather…………. absolutely pleasant, with some showers now & then
YOU SHOULD GO TO BANGKOK WHEN....
When you're feddup of the humidity / heat torturing your soul day after day
When you're fagged out, with every bone of yr body stressed out.. and you wanna surrender yrself to a goddess incarnated masseuse who'll take you in her shelter, and heal your body with a mother of all massages- the Thai massage
When you wanna explore the bustling night life
When you wanna freak out exploring the South East Asian cuisine
When you wanna go & check out the famous 15' X 50' golden sleeping Buddha
When you don’t want to worry much about your budget for the holiday (1 week @Bangkok for 1 person = 35k including air fare/ hotel stay/ food….. & OF COURSE excluding the mother of all sins SHOPPING)
When you're bored with the kaali-peeli sadiyon se chalti aa rahi khatara taxis & are for a mood for being driven around bright coloured air conditioned Toyota corolla's
When you're feddup of dirt/ filth/ stink in the country (hello! I aint doing any kinna India bashing, jo hai so hai !)
When you're bored of life, and questions like: what am I doing in life! Why are we born! What is this cycle of life & death! sorts come to yr mind., it means you need a break dude!
When you wanna check out Toyota's sexy looking YARIS,& imagine what it'll look like when it hits the small car market in India.
When you wanna hang out at a place where although they don’t understand English, it’s a breeze to get yr way through
You wanna check out some jazz such as the Ocean's world, Pat pong (good fake hi-brand watches, bags & glares!), Floating market, Buddha temples, Kings Palace, cabaret dancing etc !
Don’t worry guys; I've NOT missed out on the most top- of –the –mind obvious reason for why one should go …. Just being a lady & being polite ;)
Remember:
Money changersall around, so no worry (even Indian currency at some places can be exchanged)
Cabbies/ Tuk Tuk(Rik) chaps take you on a royal spin quoting any rate! Like you're a big giant blue genie freed from a bottle who's SUPPOSED to grant their wishes ! (Sadly that’s exactly what you end up doing!). Alternative: use sky rails/ cab bikes
Don’t try using the credit card much, restrict it to some good places, as there could be forgery. And anyways you gotta carry around a lotta cash
Experiment with food!So what if it does go wrong at some experimentation! Life's all about trying out new stuff!
Absolutely do not miss out on the Thai massages… truly rejuvenating
