Anand sweets and savories is a popular destination for sweets, snacks and Food. It is located in Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore.
The shop is mainly for sweets, followed by savories. The sweets are very popular here. I too like their sweets a lot(especially Rasamalai) as they are of great taste and good quality. During festive seasons, the rush here is heavy. They are famous for their Hot jalebis and laddoo. Also their milk sweets are popular among people.
Anand also houses in a small restaurant, which serves only North Indian and Chinese food(pure Veg). I like their Sizzling Tandoori Platter and North Indian Thali. The platter is a must-try for all. It is served in a charcoal-based smoking dish. The thali comprises of sweet, 2 naan/roti, paneer gravy, veg gravy, rice and salad along with pickle. Though the taste is good, it is not great. Also, you can try Channa Batura, parathas and chats. The prices are normal.
Anand is a good place to try sweets and snacks. They are of great taste. But I do not recommend it for food. You can try once or twice, but not a great choice for regular visits.
